I have studied Mandarin before a number of times over the last 6 years and have learned some basics but have never practised conversation.
I really want to improve now. I want to work in China or Taiwan and I want to be able to hold conversations in Chinese with my Chinese friends.
I think I need a lot of conversation practice and to learn characters. I only know a very few.
I am prepared to study quite hard now that I have finished my MBA.

I would be classed as a beginner,
There are two main reasons why I want to develop my skills in Spanish, they are travel and cultural interest.
Grammar and general conversation
I want to dedicate 1 night a week live in person to Spanish classes, then 5 or so hours on the weekend to study.
I am looking for lessons that are both practical and theoretical, along with being fun and full of variety.
I live in Balmain and am extremely interested in learning Spanish because I plan on travelling to Spain and South America next year,

I have studied (minimally) both French and Czech. I am interested in learning Spanish for both personal and professional reasons.
