I am English and have moved to Pune. I expect to be here for about three years. I have four house staff who all speak Hindi (as well as their regional tongue). Hello, my name is Yossi.
The reason I want to learn Hebrew is because when I saw Israeli movies in Nepal, I found it so beautiful I got very much interested in learning it.
As general knowledge, I know that Hebrew is a thousands-yea rs old language that went through lots of crisis, and was revived upon the creation of Israel.
A few years back, in fact, I have once visited there as a member of the kibbutz volunteer program and stayed for a couple of months.
At that time, I also went to learn the language at one of Hebrew language institutes.
But without practice, I have forgotten most of the words I learned.
So, I would really like to learn Hebrew, and if you would take trouble to teach it to me, I would be very much glad.

My youngest is 5 and since we are relocating to Perth he isn't proficient in English as far as speaking is concerned although he has a limited understanding of some english vocabulary. At this stage he refuses to speak English since he is not confident with using his limited vocabulary. Since I don't know what the training would entail, I have no idea what timespan I'm looking at.
