I am between a beginner and intermediate Spanish student. I am interested in learning enough to get by and have a basic conversation in Costa Rica in February 2008. I have family that I have never met before that live there and I would like to be able to converse with them somewhat.
I need improvement in conversation.
I would like to dedicate meeting once per week with a tutor and practicing on my own.

I am looking for weekly one on one hourly sessions fairly close to my home.
I have been spending about an hour or so daily for the past 9 months on an online beginners spanish course which has helped me alot. Now I really need help with conversation, pronunciation , vocabulary and correct grammar applications.
My husband and I plan to winter in Latin America in the next couple of years and I would really love to be able to feel competent while speaking to the locals.
I need a patient teacher with a flexible schedule as I am a shift worker and can't commit to a specific time.
In the meantime I will continue with my audio tapes and CD Rom course and plug away.

Hi there,
I am interested in taking spanish lessons, I am technically a beginner, though have lived in and amongst spanish speaking countries for a couple of years. I have a fair bit of conversation skills, but I know my grammar is bad. I would like to improve in both areas but in the end, I want to strengthen my conversation skills so I could potentially work in a spanish speaking country in the future.
I would like to dedicate maybe 4 hours a week of language lessons and would look for a teacher that was fun to learn from.
