I'm want to learn basic Japanese before going to a trip to Japan. I am a beginner (all I can say is my name is...), so I will need a lot of help. I'm willing to spend about 2-3 hours in person and self studay through the week. ME: I've always fascinated with Japanese language because the level of respect and formality (Keigo) used when talking to someone with higher rank/authorit y/age.
Your proficiency level (e.g., beginner, etc.).
ME: I studied Japanese on and off for 5 years (self-taught) , and since last year I started to learn kanji everyday. Kanji learned so far around 950 character.
The areas in which you feel you need particular improvement (e.g., grammar, conversation, etc.), if any.
ME: Listening, grammar and conversation. My aim is to pass JLPT N4
How much time you want to dedicate to your language lessons.
ME: I spent about 2-3 hours everyday studying kanji myself.
What qualities you are looking for in your lessons or in your teacher.
ME: Trustworthy, knowledgeable , friendly and of course interesting class.
