I am a beginner and know a few Chinese phrases. I want to learn Chinese for personal and business reasons, as I have many friends in Taiwan and in China. I board Asian students in my house, who are here in Victoria learning English. I would like to gain a comprehensive knowledge of the Chinese language, so a least I can carry on a basic conversation and maybe some grammar. I will dedicate as much time as necessary to accomplish my goals in this regard. I would like my lessons and my teacher to be organized, concise and thorough.
