I would say I'm a begginner. I took 2 years Spanish in high school and have a basic understanding of the language, but would like to become fluent. It would help me out a great deal at work and my sister new husband is from Honduras and I would liket o communicate with him better. I would like to improve my conversation skills the most. I would like to get dedicate at least 3-4 days a week. I'm looking for someone that can help me with vocab and practicing.

My wife and I are beginners. We have some knowledge of Spanish but are not able to converse and this is our objective.
We are both retired and learning Spanish for educational reasons and to allow more scope fro travel.
We will be in san Jose for 10 weeks from 1 Feb to 15 April 2006
We could devote 10 hours a week to tutorials - perhaps more to additional home study.
Our expectations of our teacher is that they be proficient in the English language as well as their native Spanish. Also, that we are given clear learning objectives and tested against those objectives so we have some knowledge of our progress (or lack of it).

I did 5 years of spanish at school and stopped at GCSE level. And unfortunately my level has very much decreased. My father is bolivian and I would like to achieve a greater level of spanish. I need to improve all aspects of my spanish, especially conversationa l.
