We are seriously considering adopting 2-3 Ethiopian children within the next year. They currently speak Amharic and we will need a English tutor for them when they arrive.
The children will obviously need help in grammar, conversation, spelling, etc.
I can not estimate the amount of time per week, but would rely on the tutor and the progress we see to identify the time commitment.
I would expect the tutor to be patient and kind with the children as they will have quite a challenge adapting to the American culture including language.

hey!!
Im actually not learning any language 'formally' althought of course Iwant to think that Im improving my English everyday by living and working in Dublin.
I wish to learn Polish, on a beginners level, I have no idea about the language apart from two or three words am use to listen everyday at home (Polish flatmates) so at least the sound of it its not completelly strange to me.
I would like to learn it in a very practical way to be able to communicate on a basic level.
I can dedicate between one and two evenings a week, and i love to do it with at least 2 other people starting from the same level.
