Es esmu anglis un es mazliet saprotu latviski. Es dzīvoju Rīgā uz 2 mēnešiem (līdz 14 aug 2013). Man interesē apmeklēt latviešu valodas stundes, varbūt 1 stunda dienā. Vai jūs varat piedāvāt kaut ko?

I'm from England (age 34) staying in Riga for 2 months (until 14 August 2013). I understand some Latvian and I would like to learn some more and especially practise conversation.
I have studied using 'Teach Yourself Latvian' book, 'Book 2' book, plus reading internet sites, Twitter feeds, phrasebook apps. My conversation skills are very basic, though I enjoy trying to speak to Latvians here.
If I could have, say, 1 lesson a day for a week, that would be great. If it goes well, I'd like to continue. During July, I am attending a course so I might only have time for lessons at weekends. I would also be happy to learn in a group.

I am a student at the Medical faculty of Riga Stradina University and has been so for the last 5 years. During this time I had some classes in latvian during the first years and is often meeting with patient to talk about their problems. At current level I am getting by but the problem is that I still feel that I need to develop my conversation skills an especially my listening comprehension .
I am therefore not interested in speaking using prefect grammar, but rather making myself understood.
I would like one class a week to start with and go from there. I have my medical studies so I cannot spend to much time on my lativan but I would altough like someone who pushes me a bit.
My latvian teacher should be well understood with my goal to be able to speak with patient in a doctor patient realtionship. I believe that roleplaying would be a good way of acheving this.
