I am interested in learning to converse, read & write Italian after a visit to that country.I am really a beginner although I have done a basic 8 week course in Italian earlier this year. (group)I would prefer private lessons, about an hour a week, but this may need to be flexible, rather than the same time and day each week.I have transport, but would prefer not to have to travel long distances for the lessons.I am prepared to study and do exercises in my spare time, so that the lessons will not be repetitious and that rapid progress can be made.I would like the full attention of my teacher for the hour that I am being taught,so he/she shouldnt be doing another job at the same time.I am a retired professional, and am fluent in 3 other languages.Thi s venture is entirely voluntary and needs to be enjoyable and relaxing for both student and teacher.Prefe rably, I do not want a fixed contract, and as long as I feel Im making good progress and enjoying the lessons(gramm ar, conversation, listening to and discussing Italian dialogue and music)there need not be a time limit.

I would be starting as a beginner learning Italian. I would like to learn to speak the language so I can attend a culinary scholl in Italy. I am currently a culinary student at The Pacific Institute of the Culinary arts in Grandville Island. I would like to dedicate about 4 hours per week to my lessons. I know nothing about Italian. I don't know if I am counted as a beginner. I really want to learn Italian, because I need it for my future career. Eventhough I am 14, I think I should start learning this language. I really have nothing that I need the improve on, because I know nothing about this language. But i do know that this language is really simular to French; which I am learning at school. I am willing to spend 2hours on this language. I looking for the vocabularies having to do with fashion designing, or general, basic grammar/conve rsations.
