I would like to learn sign language for my own interest but also in hopes that it could help me to a find a job as a teacher. I have no background in ASL so I would have to start from the basics. I would like to have lessons once a week with homework assigned to be completed on my own. I am looking for a tutor that will show me how to use resources that are available to me so that I can work on this more independently .

I am trying to learn spanish sign language and swahili. I am just above a beginner in spanish and i know how to count to 100 in sign language and know a bunch of random words phrases like nice to meet you. And i know a bunch of songs. I want to learn languages so that i can say im fluent in something other than english . I would like to deticate all my free time to learning languages

I became interested in learning sign language as a child. I have a relative who is deaf. My mother and sister's hearing is affected by a hereditary condition. I would like to learn sign language to communicate more fully in the world.
I teach English, and I believe it should be taught in school. The story 'Chamelons and Codas' tells about living with parents who sign. It gave me insight into a subject area which would be valuable.

I would Really luike to learn Japanese I wish to become fluent. right now I am a beginer but I find knowing another language will benifit me much in the future. I would dedicate as much time needed to learning. Currently I know English, since I live in Canada and Polish since it is my native tounge. Hopefully I can find a teaher whos native tounge is Japanese :)
