I have been wanting to learn a new language for some time but never had the time. It just so happens that I have recently graduated high school and am taking a year off. I thought it'd be a fun idea if I learned my boyfriends native language so I could have conversations with him and his family. The only language I have ever spoken is English and a bit of remedial French(till grade 9) So I am most definitely a beginner starting from scratch although I do know a few words. I'd like to become fluent in Albanian or at least understand and speak common things. Like I said earlier I have a year off so I have time, however I will need to work around my work schedule which fluctuates. In terms of classes, I'd say anywhere from 2-3 hours per lesson. My teacher must be fluent (obviously) and be very patient. I take a bit to pick up things. Someone friendly and outgoing would be nice and a bit of a sense of humor just because if it is 'straight to business' I'll probably get bored.
