I'm a 26 year old American living in Shanghai wanting to learn French. I'm motivated by a general interest in studying foreign languages. I'm a very diligent student; I've previously learned Arabic and Chinese to a pretty high level.
I'm starting from basically no knowledge of French at all. I want to gain a general knowledge of the language, become conversationa lly fluent and literate in non-specializ ed texts. I'd like to have a lesson for 2 hours a week.
