my girlfriend is Swedish and although we have been together for almost 6 years i only seriously started to learn the language about a year ago. I have taken classes and completed Pimsleur comprehensive but I still find very little time to practice due to other commitments. My girlfriend is Swedish so I would like to learn so that I can communicate with her family and also with the intention of finding a job as soon as possible.
I am a beginner - I understand the basic rules and can make sense of basic Swedish but find it very hard to understand when I listen to others talking.
I need improvement in all areas but I would particularly like to be able to converse.
I would like a friendly teacher that can help me reach my goals of being able to have decent conversations with people in Swedish and then look for jobs.

I wish to continue my swedish studies. I studied the language for several years, but unfortunately i did not pay attention at the time as i thought i would never need to use it. I now could benefit from knowing how to speak it at work. Im quite experienced in language studies, and am well aware of the time investment required. Although i state english as my native language, it in fact is finnish, but i think im more than fluent enough for the communication languagento be english.
I am only interested in live lessons as i prefer the personal contact and immediate feedback opportunities that gives.
