Level of French is pretty basic (maybe a bit higher than school standard) with listening better than speaking!
Wish to move to France for at least a year with possibility of moving permanently if things work out well.
Area s of concentration would be conversation primarily although grammar will of course also be required.
Length of time to dedicate would depend on teaching methods and amount of time teacher could afford to give.
Abil ity to teach language as well as discuss customs, culture, etc for a better understanding of living en France.

I have always been interested in languages and especially French. I want to be a primary teacher and would like to be able to specialise in French so I can also be able to teach another interesting language to students and be able to share my passion of the French language and culture with many more people. I am currently in high school and studying higher French which I am finding a challenge especially after thinking the standard grade course was quite easy. I feel I need improvement in all areas and i find learning tenses very difficult. I would like to dedicate a few hours a week to learning French especially with a tutor as I find one to one with someone is easier. I would like for my tutor to be able to not only teach me French but also tell me about French culture because I think I will be more interested if I know more about France and I also love to learn about other countries.

i have had a life long interest in learning to speak french,and for the past year i have been trying to teach myself some basic french through listening to Michel Thomas french tapes, but i feel i have to try to converse with someone for me to make progress.At present i work away from home on rotational cycle so iwould have to fit in my lessons around this,my level of french at present is probably at the basic level but i really want to make progress in conversationa l french
