I am inetrested in learning Dutch as I see myself having a future in Netherlands. I have lived there for 3 years (2004-2007) and my dad currently lives and works there. I learned Dutch at the International School of Amsterdam in kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 2. Although I have lost most of my proficiency, I occasionally am exposed to dutch media as I follow Dutch football. I am able to understand people speaking to a small extent but I lack a large vocabulary range. I'm looking for once a week lessons preferably 1.5 to 2 hours long each session. I'm looking for a patient teacher who is fluent and familiar with Dutch culture. I have no gender or age preference. I prefer teachers located in the West but I'm willing to travel towards the central area.

Hello,
I am keen on learning Flemish to interact with my Belgian friends when I visit them every year.
I have not had any training in the language, short of repeating what children say like 'Slaap well' or 'oliphant'.
I would like to be able to engage in conversation with my peers. Written knowledge is not crucial but conversationa l skills and vocabulary is a must. Of course grammar knowledge is important for me to be able to construct sentences on my own.
I hope to have lessons once a week on either Saturday or Sunday.
Th e lessons should be structured and progressive in nature. I would like more practice in pronunciation =)
