My boyfriend is from Eritrea and we plan on getting married some day. Although I'm also African, my family speaks english and can communicate with my boyfriend. Unfortunately , I can't communicate with his mother and aunties and a few of his family members in Eritrea because they only speak tigrigna. I want to learn tigrigna so I will be able to communicate with my future-in-law s.
Although my boyfriend has been teaching me a few words here and there, I'm still a beginner in the language.
I need help in both grammar and especially in conversation.
I want to dedicate as much time into this language as possible.
I'm looking for someone that's very knowledgeable in the language and will be able to help me further my skills in tigrigna...pr eferably someone who's native language is titrigna.

I have never taken Tigrinya before. I want to learn to be able to provide a voluntary community service to Eritrean imigrants in my home town of Philadelphia. I would like to take a class one to two times a week for 2 to 3 hours a session. My instructor should be willing to help me learn vocabulary in a swift manner.

My wife and I are interested in learning Tigrigna because it is her native tongue. She understands it and I would like to learn so we can teach our children. We are at different levels of learning needs. She would like to become more comfortable speaking and I would like to learn from the beginning. We are able to dedicate a about 4-6 hours a week learning the language. We are both auditory learners so we need to hear the language frequently without judgment.
