I do not know any Croatian/Serb ian. I travel to Croatia every summer, because my step-father is Croatian. I would like to be able to hold a conversation in Croatian. I would like to have private lessons 1 to 2 times a week starting in june.

Croatian was the first language I learned as a young child. I have not spoken it fluently in many years since moving back to the US. I would like to learn conversationa l Croatian. I would like to spend at least 2 hours a week to learning. If not more. I am looking for a patient teacher as well as one who motivates and makes learning fun!

My Husband's family emigrated from Croatia to Luxembourg before he was born, he has basic understanding of the language and wants to improve his abilities. I would be a true beginner. I would like to be able to converse with his family and he would like be proficient to travel and converse. He speaks 5 other languages (English, French, Luxembourgish , German and some Spanish) he is very adept at picking up new languages. I have a basic understanding of Spanish but am not as quick at learning languages as he. We would love to work with someone directly to learn as quickly as possible.

I know some of the basics from online and audio language programs as well as croatian-spea king friends. My fiance and his family are Croatian and I traveled to Croatia this Summer and plan on visiting every Summer! I am willing to do whatever it takes to be fluent- or at least almost- by next July/August. I need a teacher who is very knowledgeable and makes learning interesting as well as motivational and very structured.
