Proficiency is extremely minimal. I would like to learn Urdu in order to better relate to my Pakistani fiancé. Conversation is the area I would like to focus on the most. I am looking to spend multiple days a week working with the teacher and language. I've been studying Arabic for a year on my own. To advance, I need a qualified teacher to help with conversation and grammar. I can read and write the language with some proficiency. I'd like to take lesson once or twice a week. I'd like a teacher that has worked with other students and comes prepared with organized lessons each time we meet. In the past, I've worked with tutors that were poorly organized and did not have very good learning tools.

I have never spoken, read, or written manadarin.
I want to learn Manadarin because it will be the principal language of commerce in 10-15 years time.
I would like to start with conversationa l Manadarin.
I can dedicate about 4-8 hours a week to learning.
I speak English, not American. I am very formal about correct grammar, word usage, and speech. I wish to learn classical, formal Manadarin from someone who is well educated, very well spoken, and retains formal speech and correct grammar. I do not want to learn slang or street dialects of the language.

I am a beginner in Korean language, and have already learned the complete Hangul alphabet, as well as how to write the characters. I am interested in learning the language on an interest basis, particularly because I would like to learn to gain a better insight to Korean life.
