I am about to complete my third year of living in Afghanistan. I want immersion training in Pashto upon my return to the U.S. in preparation for the Defense Language Proficiency Test. I currently have a vocabulary of approximately 2000 words and phrases and I'm beginning to conjugate verbs. However, I must admit that the Afghans understand my Pashto better than I understand theirs.

I lived in Turkey for 1 year and would like to improve my knowledge of the language. I would say I am a beginner but with some knowledge. I would like to become fluent in the language for job placement opportunities . I need improvement in sentence format and vocabulary, particularly more business and political vacabulary. Im a native speaker although I dont know Iranian dialect I speak Dari. Im learning Farsi in order to fullfill advanced level language requirements as stated by my campus. And I do need improvements in every area which includes vocabulary, grammer, conversation, etc. I can dedicate a couple hours per week to this and would like to have this done soon. I do need to take a final proficiency exam and present it to my campus.
