I can read some Spanish, comprehend about 40% of Spanish being spoken, but would like to write and be able to speak sentences. I have had some Spanish lessons, but did not apply myself at that time. My boyfriend is Mexican and I spend 50% of my time in Mexico and need to be able to communicate and not feel dependent. I would like help with grammar and conversation.
I am willing to learn quickly and really do not have a lot of money to spend on classes.
I am very serious about learning this language.

I love the spanish language and I love learning. I have a basic understanding of the language and I can comprehend spanish much better than I can speak it. I want to advance my speaking ability. I just came back from a language immersion program in Mexico and I don't want to loose anything I have learned.

I was proficient in French I & II in high school, approximately twenty years ago. I now have a teenage daughter, who has chosen French at a Private school in the northeast. She is struggling in a college prep level class, as language is a weakness for her. I want to re-awaken the French that I learned, so that I can help her to practice & converse. Hopefully, if all goes well, she & I will make a trip to France in the next few years.
I'm not sure how quickly it will come back to me, but considering the situation, it's pretty important for me to make some serious strides faily rapidly. I would think that once or twice a week for lessons would be sufficient, however, I am open to change.
