W hy am I learning such a language? Out of deep interest.

H ow much time would I dedicate? As much as I can. (minimum: 2-3 hours every lesson)
Wh at qualities you are looking for in your lessons or in your teacher? A teacher who isn't so rigid, a flexible teacher. A teacher who is more hands-on (but not so overwhelmingl y hands-on) rather than by the book. A teacher who can arouse cognitive thinking. A teacher who loves his or her job, a teacher with interest in his or her teaching. A teacher who has cultural knowledge of the language he or she teaches.
P referably, a teacher who loves manga.

I feel that my japanese ability is on the edge between beginner and intermediate. I'm want to learn the language because I would like for it to be my major and I started a little late so I would like to catch up to the other students in my class. I'm looking to work on both grammer and conversation but more on conversation. I would like to dedicate maybe 1-2 hours, two-three times a week.

My name is Megan and i've been trying to go to a Denver college for the last two years. I am unable to fund my education but still want to learn. At some point i would like to teach secondary or elementary education to the hearing impaired. My schedule is free on Fridays and i'm willing to spend as much time as i need to in order to further my education. I have no experience in sign language except the basic alphabet, and i'm not very good at that. I'm looking for an instructor who is patient, reasonably priced, AND accredited. Because I have the desire or love for learning different languages, I'd love to learn Korean. The language is very beautiful just like the culture, as well as the country itself. Korea is the most beautiful country I've ever seen. Since my career is to become a successful video director, I'd love to have my videos taken place in Korea.
