Hello,
I am looking to learn Spanish. I will be going down to Panama/Costa Rica/Nicaragu a in the fall and would like to have a handle on the language before I go there. I am moving away from Ottawa at the end of June, so I have a few questions:
W hat group classes are available between now an the en of June (I am alone, but prefer to learn in a group environment, if this is not possible, one on one is fine with me)?
How many classes could I fit in by the end of June (I assume I need some time in between classes for homework and letting things sink in)?
Roughly how much would it cost to attend what is available?
I have traveled to Costa Rica before and speak a little (muy poco) Spanish, but really just the basics.
I will be sending this email to other teachers to see availability of their classes

I would like to learn arabic for my own pleasure. I do not speak or write, so i am a BEGINNER. For that reason i think i will need help in all areas. I would like to dedicate weekends for my lessons if that is possible.
Since i am a beginner i would like to get someone who is very PATIENT, and works accordingly to my needs. I want to be able to enjoy myself in the process making it more enjoyable to learn if possible. At the end of the day all i want to do is to be able to learn to speak, read and write arabic. It has been something I've wanted for a very long time.
I would like to have those lessons face to face if possible, preferably at my place :)

I originally took a Russian Language course in University, and saw how fun it is and I now have a new found love for linguistics as a whole.-Though I still only Intermediate in Russian I would like to become fluent if possible-
I think you can learn so much about how cultures are by how they interact through language and i find it fascinating- especially hearing the specific idioms and sayings.
I definately need to know more vocabulary.
I just finished learning all of the cases (NOM, PREP, ACC, GEN, DAT, INST)
I am looking for a nice teacher- I react badly to stress so they really need to be approachable people, and a teacher who really cares for their students and how much they learn.
I really want to learn as much as I can and not forget anything
I 'd like to work on it all summer- at least- so a discount would be nice- or maybe a large class so its a bit cheaper
Th ough I am happy doing once a week lessons- just to keep on top of things.
