I am going to Egypt in May 2010 for the seventh time. I would like to be able to speak a few sentences to my friends there. I am a beginner and would like a teacher who is local. I want to learn Arabic because not only is it a widely-spoken language, but since I want to have a career in journalism and the more languages I know, the better. I am also learning French and Spanish. I am a beginner and have no previous knowldge of Arabic. It would be nice to have a teacher with which I can meet at least 2 times a week.

My interestes in understanding arabic include future travels, possible business use and personal growth. I am a beginner. I know nothing about the language... I can meet for tutoring once a week depending upon the cost. I want to learn from a teacher who has a good understnding of both Arabic and English, someone who loves to teach others and see them succeed. I am a bit confused about the various types of Arabic and have indicated Egyptian Arabic, though I hope to be able to use my training traveling in the Middle East, etc. too and might light to become proficient in other Arabic variations.

I am looking for 2 tutors right now, a Mandarin Chinese tutor and a classical Arabic tutor. I need them for two kids, a 4 and a 5 year old. The tutors must have experience in teaching kids that young. It is preferable that they have a specific method designed for teaching kids. I will need two consecutive hours for each language. Teaching can be online or personally in my house.
