I would love a Burmese Language teacher because I have sponsored a child from Myanmar through World Vision for many years. I would like to visit Myanmar in a year or two or have child come here. I would be willing to work hard and would like one hour lessons once or twice a week. I am a beginner who has tried CD's,but feel I could do better with teacher. I am a woman and think I would be more comfortable with a woman teacher. Thank you.

I would like to learn Burmese because i like the Burmese culture, the people and the place.
I have never learnt Burmese before and I would like to learn how to recognize Burmese characters as well as daily conversation.
I would like to spend one hour a day for learning this new language. I hope my teacher will be patient, dedicated and keen to share her knowledge. I prefer to have a lady teacher who can speak English as well.
