i would love to learn the spanish language mostly because i love it but also i plan to travel and visit some friends.

I would love to learn Spanish. I'm a beginner but I am teaching French myself. I already learned Italian for one year ( that's awhile ago....)
My focus would be on the basics and conversation (in case I'm going to a Spanish speaking country one day.... )

I speak a couple languages already and love to travel and study cultures. I hope to become a journalist someday and would like to write about people and their cultures from around the World. Language is a huge part of culture and it opens doors.
I took Spanish level 1 at Grant MacEwan a few years ago but have forgotten most of it. I already speak French fluently and speak and understand a lot of Thai but cannot read or write it. I also learned a little Japanese and can still read and write almost all hirogana and katakana but haven't learned any kanji.
I work full time weekdays therefore can only have evening classes but I would like a couple hours of lessons/week for about 8 weeks to start and then see how things are going after that.
Joinin g a class instead of private lessons are fine with me as well.

I have never learned spanish and it will be a first experience for me. I am a beginner.
I want to learn spanish to feel confortable going in south America for traveling.
I would like to dedicate about 1 hour per week to my lessons and maybe an additional 2 hours to study.
