My name is MIKE,and I would like to improve my THAI language skills,in particular,co nversation.I have tried one or two audio courses
but made little progress as the tonality of the language is tricky.Also, I think a good teacher would be able to encourage and give
feedbac k,which is important.
I would like my teacher to be friendly and understanding of the
difficul ties faced by older learners.I am prepared to put the time in,but I'm not looking to pass exams or go into the finer points of
grammar,a lthough I'm happy to receive the basics of structure.Som e help
with pronunciation would be nice too!
To summarise,I am a beginner who would like to improve for holidays,and the possibility that my partner and I may spend more time
in THAILAND in the future.I hope there might be a teacher in the OXFORD
area who can help me.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to learn another language to challenge my mind and I believe tonal languages better suit me (i also speak Spanish, which probably doesnt help but I feel that I can speak tonal languages better).
I am at beginner level and would like to learn grammer, conversation and listening skills to better understand the Thai culture. I am able to spend several hours per week learning and i'm looking for a teacher that can provide a direct approach to teaching as I am a quick learner.
