I have yet to start learning Chinese. so I am just a beginner that is willing to learn.I would like to learn Chinese for career advancement and to prove to myself that i can learn this language. there are no particular area that i need to learn because in order to understand something you need to know all, even so i will try my best in all section as possible. the time that i am willing to put forth to on learning is about 2 to 5 hours or depending on the teachers hours that i can fit into. i would prefer someone who was born and knows how to speak Chinese in Taiwan or china. and can correct me on my mistake. but i would also like a teacher who can can do one on one with a student when needed for slower help so that i can understand correctly and advance along the way.

I am 62 years old and I would love to speak spanish. I work for the ATP (Tennis) and speak to many people from all of the world. I have no experience with the language but I want to learn Russian as I am planning on visiting there within the next year or two on holiday. I need a teacher that has a flexible schedule as I work long hours. I am not sure how much time I am going to be able to spend on studying. It is something that will have to be worked on and experimented with to determine the best amount of time.

I am a beginner Mandarin learner, who has spent some time in China. I want to open a school/orphan age in China within the next 5-10 years and language proficiency is necessary. Within the next 6 months to 1 years I would like to see just how far I can push myself in learning Mandarin. I would like to meet for 1-hour sessions 2-3 time a week and then spend a lot of time studying on my own. I am looking for a teacher that is capable of providing both short and long-term goals that can challenge me as a student. I am a teacher and can adapt to multiple teaching strategies, but I also realize that I visual learner and am looking for a teacher who can use that to help me learn the language. I will make time for homework and extra research and will do whatever it takes to become fluent in this language.
