I am brand new to learning Mandarin or any Chinese for that matter but I am very dedicated and I am looking for a dedicated teacher to help me on my way to becoming fluent in the beautiful language! I would like to learn Chinese because I have a love for the culture, the people, and I would love to visit China one day. I am also going to school for International Business (most likely) and I would like to have a language under my belt. I would like to have a teacher that would give me private lessons a few times a week. This teacher would preferably be a native Chinese person and also should be able to communicate enough in English to teach correctly. I would like them to teach reading and writing as well as speaking.

I have a Chinese wife and she and her friends all think I should learn Chinese. The trouble is that none of them are willing to teach me. I want to learn mainly because our company is expanding in the Chinese market and I am going to be instructing over there. I would like to become very proficient at the language then go deeper into our technical side of it. I have no Chinese ability at all and will have to be taught like a child I am not too good at languages I am afraid.
