I am currently interested in learning Hindi and Mandarin Chinese for educational/t ravel purposes. I have no experience with either/or. I would like to learn conversationa l and grammatical Chinese/Hindi . I would like to dedicate two days for an hour and a half into the study of either/or langauage.
T he qualities I seek for a tutor are patience and the ability to present and describe concepts, ideas in a percise and understandabl e manner. Some of my major frustrations with teachers/tuto rs deal with the inability to present their lessons in a clear manner. It is highly important that tutors possess this skill.

Why - want to revise the chinese already learnt and build on my chinese speaking ability. Looking to travel and possibly work in China in 12 months time.
Time - 1-2hrs a week in lessons plus own time to revise

I am inquiring about lessons for my family. I have 3 children aged 4, 7 & 8 whom my husband and I feel would benefit greatly from learning the Chinese language. We also feel it would be of benefit to ourselves and our children to understand the language as well.
Engl ish is the language spoken at home. My children and I speak no other languages. My husband speaks German and has a basic understanding of the Dutch language.
Our goal is to learn Chinese in order to be proficient conversationa lly.
The time we are willing to dedicate is flexible.
We are looking for a friendly and warm teacher, preferably female, who is patient and good with children.
