I am a beginner student wanting to learn Mandarin more. I know the very basic words of Mandarin. Why I want to learn Mandarin is because I feel it could help me out in the long run in my future in the business world. I also taught English in China a few years ago and want to return to China to work and live. I am very fascinated with the Chinese culture and the language. I find it very fascinating and beautiful.
I am also a beginner student wanting to learn Ukrainian. My family is 100% Ukrainian and unfortunately they did not teach me Ukrainian growing up for they thought it would confuse me with learning French in school which is mandatory in elementary schools. I am also enthralled in learning the language for it is where my family comes from and I feel it'll bring me closer to my family. I've always wanted to speak to them in Ukrainian but I have limited vocabulary in it.
