I am at an intermediate level in all languages. I have taken courses and have coursework, I understand pronunciation , intonations, character stroke order (chinese) and have a limited vocabulary. I am interested in learning Mandarin Chinese. I am planning on going over to Taiwan to teach English, the schools say that you don't need any background in speaking Chinese, but I would like to have a foundation of basic communication . I am interested in speaking more than writing but I would like to lean how to write and read as well. I am planning on going to class for my teaching English as a second language licenser in early summer (June through Mid-July 2006). Until then I would like to focus heavily on studying Mandarin. I want to immerse my self in the language before I head out to Taiwan. If you think that you have the skills to be able to train an open minded willing student that will be dedicated to the study please contact me. If you are just looking for some extra cash please don’t bother, I want a dedicated teacher.
