Hello. I am seeking a personal tutor for the following languages: Spanish(inter mediate), French(interm ediate), Chinese(begin ner), and Arabic(beginn er). I am looking to develop both my conversationa l skills as well as my grammatical understanding of these languages. I would like to dedicate up to 5 hours per week for tuition. I am looking for a tutor who has a 'no-pause' business and casual vocabulary... and someone who is patient when I just don't get it. I am seeking lessons for myself and for my wife. We live in downtown Dallas.

I am at an intermediate level in all languages. I have taken courses and have coursework, I understand pronunciation , intonations, character stroke order (chinese) and have a limited vocabulary. It has been two years since I have seriously studied languages. With my full schedule, I need better structure and motivation to take my learning to the next level. I have taken French as an undergraduate and completed the intermediate level. However, currently my French language skills (grammar, reading, conversation) need lots of review and have been out of practice for the last few years.
I am a graduate student studying ethnomusicolo gy focusing on North African identities and music cultures in diaspora (i.e. in France). Thus I need help with French to be able to communicate with French speakers, read articles, books in this language for research, and translate song lyrics.
I am also interested in continuing with Arabic--I have completed first year Arabic-- and learning Berber.
