I'm a beginner. I know very few words in cantonese. I need to learn how to comunicate in cantonese. I'm working 5 days a week but some times i also need to work during weekend. I would say, once a week for a start (Prefer after 7pm, Friday).
I need a teacher who can guide me until i'm able to comunicate well in this language. Someone that is passion and take it very serious in teaching regardles of races.

My proficiency level is beginer. I would like to speak conversatioon al Cantonese. If this would be in person instruction, I would think about an hour a week. If this was on line or via telephone I would expect more. I am looking for a teacher who is fluent in both english and cantonese. I have a chinese friend who has helped me learn some phrases but her english, although very good is not fluent. i am thinking of a compensation level of $15/hr/wk. I chose this level because I know for example, the current rate for guitar lessons is that amount. i have read some things about Chinese history. I am interested in the culture and as i said I have a friend I could relate to on a new level. If the what I am looking for is not available through this site, can you make any suggestions?
