I am a beginner level, looking to learn Hindi. I love the Indian culture, the movies, music, etc. I would like to learn the language now.
I would like to learn to read, write and speak. I would like to dedicate 2-3 hours per week with an instructor and more time on my own as well.
I am looking for an instructor that is fair in price, consistent in teaching style and adaptable to my work schedule. I would need to meet at 6:30 PM on the weekday or over the lunch hour during work.
I am looking for more knowledge of the language than just 'how much does this cost' or 'where is the bathroom'. I would not be surprise if one day I marry and Indian and I would like to be able to speak with my mother in law.

My son needs a Spanish tutor. This is his third year of Spanish and he is not doing well, at all! I would say he would describe himself as a beginner. He took the class as an elective. After the second day, he knew he would not do well, but the school would not let him drop the class. He needs to pass it to graduate from high school. He wants a tutor to help him with Spanish lessons.

I am very interested in learning conversationa l Farsi. My fiancé is from Iran and we hope to visit his family in the next 2 years. I'd love to be able to converse comfortably with them.
I speak French fluently (it was my college major and I lived there) and Spanish at an advanced beginner level. I used a service called Speak Shop to connect with a professional language instructor in Guatemala while learning Spanish, so I have some experience with online language instruction. I hope that my experience learning Romance languages will be of some help, at least in terms of having a good attitude about trying out new sounds and not being too embarrassed.
I want to learn to read, write, and speak with an emphasis on conversation. I'd like to learn basics of getting around, introductions , describing my profession, inquiring about other's families, hobbies, profession, etc. Pretty much the basics.
I am able to meet with a tutor one hour a week and could fit in 1-2 hours of homework a week, maybe a bit more (I'm currently a grad student and working full time).
I'd prefer to work with a native speaker who has experience teaching beginners in Farsi. I love learning and hope that you bring a passion for teaching!

I am a beginner in the world of Japanese. I want to learn Japanese because me and my best friend want to go there some day, and I've always loved how the language sounds and I absolutely love Japan! My Japanses is REALLY bad. No, that's not completely true. I'm self taught, everything I learned is either from anime, live-action drama, or little books or programs I've happened to come across. I'm not sure how long I would want a sesson to be- is 30 minutes to an hour a good idea? If it was everyday, I would be fully commited. Only, I'm not so good with one on one sessions, so I would like it to either be where it's not just me in the room. Like either a classroom, or my friend too. I don't really care how you teach, as long as your not mean, and you make it fun every once in a while. Please, please, please help me!!!!
