Good afternoon,
I would like to learn conversationa l Turkish, my partner is Turkish and I would like to improve my proficiency level. My current level is beginner. The areas I need improvement in is my grammar and conversation. I would like to dedicate roughly 1.5 hours per week, however would be happy to be guided by a professional on this. I would like a patient teacher, as I am only at a beginner level.

I have chosen Dutch as a subject in my Year 11/12 International Baccalaureate program at Indooroopilly State High School. As I lived in The Netherlands from age 3 to 7 and have spoken Dutch at home since moving to Australia in 2003, I am quite fluent in speaking. My reading is still quite weak, and my writing elementary at best. I expect I will have to spend one or two hours of lessons plus two to four hours of homework a week to reach the level required for the IB exam. I am looking for a teacher formally qualified and personally motivated to get me there.
