I have a strong desire to achiebve fluency in Russian. My boyfriend is Russian, and I would like to obtain a grasp on the language from the ground up in a conventional learning environment. At present, I have been reading a few books I purchased, but I think that they can only serve as supplements to interactive learning from a trained instructor. I am willing to dedicate anywhere from an hour to two hours to each lesson. In terms of desirable qualities in a teacher, I am looking for someone that implements different techniques, is patient and consistent.
