I am at the very beginning of learning Russian. I can speak few basic phrases and can at least understand the alphabet. I am travelling to Moscos and Yaroslavl in August for 9 days to do some volunteer work with mostly children and some seniors.
I want to learn as much as possible prior to travelling, mostly as I am travelling alone and will also be needed to hold conversations with both children and adults.
Qu alities in a teacher are just someone friendly and willing to help me learn!

Beginning. I have been very interested in learning Russian now for quite some time but have not found a class or tutor in the Seattle/Tacom a area that has decent prices. Because of the distance from Seattle to Sumner, I would be willing to meet somewhere in between or pay for gas expenses if necessary. I am a beginner. I have always wanted to learn Russian because it is such a unique language. I would like to attend lessons once or twice a week and I want a teacher that is very patient and knows the language very well.
