I can speak basic Mandarin, and seek to be intermedilate level, especially focusin on improvement of pronunciation , increase of vocabrary and common expressions, enhancement of influency of coversations. My boss and his wife need to learn Mandarin Chinese quickly. They both speak German (native language), English and Portugese. My boss has accepted a position in Shanghai, beginning on October 1, 2005. He and his wife will live in Shanghai. They both want to learn to speak and understand Chinese, but will not attempt to read and write it at this time. They would like to devote 2 or 3 weeks to very concentrated instructions in the Orlando area. The best fit would be a teacher who also speaks German, if possible. Of course, an English-speak ing teacher would definitely be considered. The critical issue is that they will leave Orlando at the end of September and need the training prior to that time.

I haven't started learning the language but I have become interested for its advantage. I work in a manufacturing plant and mostly interfaces with Mandarin speaking Chinese. I feel the need of learning the language so as to express myself more and relay the exact details to avoid misinterpreti ng details. I am free every weekends and I can spend 2-3hrs of the lesson. I need a teacher who is patient and can clearly express herself.
