I am a beginner in French and have had no experience with the language. I am scheduled to visit France in December and would like some grasp of the language and culture when I am there.
I am willing to dedicate an hour or more every week to my lessons. I am looking for a teacher who will be patient with my abilities but also who will challenge me as I learn. Gradually, I would prefer they speak to me in French so that I can get used to hearing and understanding the language.

My 2 school-aged children, seek a fluent French speaker to teach them the language before traveling in France next September 2006. They have no experience with the French language. English is their only language.

I'm learning for the sake of learning. My vocab used to be my strong point (i.e. grammar was not), but it's been 3 years since I took a class and my skills have weakened considerably.
