My name is Cassi Wilson. I am currently attending college in Dallas, but the Chinese(Manda rin) language is not offered at my school. I go to China once a year and I am planning to move there within the next three years, possibly sooner than that. I do not know the language at all (aside from hello, goodbye, and very few other words that help me get by while I am in China). I am very anxious to learn the language. I need a teacher that is willing to work not just written grammer, but mainly conversationa l Chinese. Please respong quickly! I want to begin as soon as possible.

I have two sons, age 15 and 11, who are native English speakers living in the United States. They speak very little Chinese at present.
W e will be visiting Singapore for two and a half weeks Jul 29 - Aug 13, 2005. I will be giving lectures at the National University of Singapore. I would like to arrange for a private tutor to spend some time (2-4 hours/day) with my sons teaching them Chinese (mandarin).
I am hoping it will be a fun experience all around -- my sons are fun and well behaved. The instruction does not need to be too formal, it can even involve touring the city or other activities (e.g., they enjoy playing badminton and ping pong also) while teaching. But it would be nice if they learned the basics of the pinyin system of pronounciatio n.

I'm a totally beginner in all those languages that i've selected. I want to learn these foreign languages are mainly because of self-improvem ent and also career advancement. As I'm a newbie, I have zero knowledge. Therefore, I want to learn every aspects of the language; grammar, conversation and such. I'm working on weekdays from 830 am - 530 pm. My only freetime are only on weekends. I want a teacher that can make me understand the language but at the same time, not boring.
