hello, my son Tiger is 7 and we would like for him to learn mandarin. My wife vivian speaks different dialects and is from China. She does not speak the language on a daily basis and we would like for our son to learn the language to be able to commmunicate with his grandparents. He knows some chinese and is anxious to learn. Please contact us and if you have time we would like for him to meet a tutor at least once a week for an hour or two.

Level: not too sure
Reason: I'm Chinese Canadian. I have spent 2 years studying Mandarin at Mcgill. I spent 8 months in Beijing, China. While I was in China, I noticed my Chinese had improved by 10 folds. I came back to Canada in September of 2004. Since then, I have had a lot of trouble finding a class that is suitable for my 'in-between' level.
Areas of trouble: conversation
Time: it depends
Qualities: I learn best with repetion and constant practice. I am looking for a teacher who will provide private lessons at a reasonable cost for a student.

I have a an itermediate level understanding of German and i love learning the language and would really like some help to improve my grammer and general conversation.
I also have a strong desire to learn chinese (mandarin or cantonese) as I work in an environment where I speak to people in china everyday, and would really love to make the effort to speak to them in native tongue. I would welcome lessons from a native speaker who can set me tasks to that i can learn at home, i would like to have at least one lesson per week.
