I am a beginning student with 1 year of French classes. However, during that year I spent 3 months in Paris. I also have a background in Latin.
I am learning French because I want to begin learning languages beside my native English. I particularly want to focus on conversationa l skills at this point- I am extremely uncomfortable with spoken French right now.
I am looking to spend an hour or two a week on lessons, and am looking for a teacher that will be meticulous with pronunciation .

I took French Grammar classes in high school and in college but that was over 15 years ago. I want to become fluent in the language for work and personal reasons. I might move to Montreal to serve as a chaplain with the next year or two. I plann to continue taking french classes to sharpen my use of the language.
I would like to spend at least 8 hours a week with learning and speaking the language so I hope to find class mates or joint a French club to speak and use the language.
I also plan to continue with classes to stay focuses and to keep the usage fresh.
