I am somewhere between a beginner and an intermediate Spanish student. I know all the basic grammar and can write decently. I struggle in vocabulary, pronunciation , and speaking. I have completed the 90 lessons of the Pimsleur Spanish course. But am moving to Panama in a year and I need to be FLUENT! I need to conjugate verbs quickly in conversation, and listen more quickly - it goes too fast! I need a lot more vocabulary and slang.
For a while I would like to work about an hour a day with a teacher, one-on-one. Then after about a month figure out what we do from there. I'd rather do it in person than phone, because I get so much more from the physical gesticulation , and watching someone's mouth helps me understand what they are saying.

I would like to klearn Spanish because it will help me relate to a much broader group of people both at work and in my social life.
I would like to have a working knowledge of the Spanish Language.
I would like to dedicate an appropriate amount of time towards learning this language. Because I have not taken Spanish lessons before I do not have any idea what type of investment of time is required.
Teacher Qualities; First patience, then I would like someone who will provide a basic knowledge of how to correclty pronounce the language and how to properly structure sentences. I am looking for osmeone who can teach me the language but not in strictly a extremely formal sense. I would like to be considered to have the ability to have convesational Spanish, not just gramatically correct Spanish.
