I took Elementary Written Persian at university last year and wish to refresh my memory. I have to take an exam in May, and would like somebody with alot of patience to teach me the rudiments of Persian grammar. Urdu is my first language- thus I am very familiar with the Persian text, so the tutor would not have to teach me how to read Persian. I am able to dedicate two 1 hour sessions a week. I would prefer one-on-one 1 hour sessions with the tutor twice a week who will patiently help me refresh my memory of what I learnt last year and help me prepare for my written exam (examples of which I can provide).

I have been married to a Persian woman for 13 years. I have some (limited) vocabulary and can frequently pick up the nature of a conversation but cannot join in. I am primarily looking for conversation skills but would like to read and write in the future. I have a good place to practice my converstion skills as my Persian in-laws live with us.
