Beginners level, although I am presently taking lessons through Wits. I need lessons either to support Wits lessons or to replace them. I need to travel to French speaking countries in Africa. Need mainly to speak and perhaps read in French. About two hours per week. Teacher must have patience and be prepared to adjust lessons to my speed and requirements.

I would like to learn French from a beginners (novice) level. To read, write and speak. Phonetics etc. Never touched this language before. Prepared to spend twice a week on learning after 5pm. Reason for language interest is to add variety to language is speak. Teacher should be well versed and safe and comfortable environment to learn at.

I have always wanted to speak French, because of the beauty of the language. I met someone at a conference and made a promise that I would learn the language. I have been learning slowly with interactice cd's, but prefer live interaction. I would be prepared to dedicate at least 4 hours a week to classes and then enything extra to read etc. The only qualities I am looking for in a teacher is that he or she must be able to be fluent in both English and French and be patient with beginners.

We are 3 adults and 1 child age 11 we want to learn French as my Daughter 11years wants to study french at high school her future endevours are studying and staying out of the country so she feels it will be best to study frech as an extra Language for her to be able to do this me and my Husband and her Aunt decided to join her to study french now to prepare her for high school and that she will be able to speak it with someone before she gets to high school.
we will learn grammar,cultu r and conversation. 1hours 30minute a week on Saturday mornings will do.
