I have studied mandarin in my Primary School under the Pupil Own Language (POL) class many years back. I understand a little bit of the language in conversation and in writing, but find it very lacking substantially . I wish to get private tuitorial to improve on the mandarin language as most of my clients were mostly madanrin educated. I hope that by improving mandarin both in conversation and in writing, I can improve my business through better conversation and correspondenc es with my clients. Morever, lately I am considering venturing into China for businesses.
My time in attending to tuitorial is flexible. It can be arrange at any time during the day or in the evening, even during office working hours.
The teacher should be preferably be qualified (Diploma or University level) and educated in China. I hope that the teacher would be able to help me to converse in mandarin, preferably in proper chinese hanyin pinyin.

Hi,
I lived in Taiwan for three years and I think my level is low intermediate- intermediate. It's hard to tell! Native Mandarin speakers say my pronunciation is good but I want to concentrate on listening (conversation or tapes, radio) and speaking. I am learning Mandarin because I have a base already and I think it is a valuable skill to have. I also like it! Right now I'd like to dedicate an hour a week as I also have a language exchange once a week.
I simply want a teacher who will ONLY speak Mandarin (simple at first) and be patient :) with me, but who is laid back and fun to talk to. A Mandarin speaker from either Taiwan or Mainland China is fine. I'm also looking in the $15-20/hr range. Thank you!
