I am a beginner looking for some lessons in cantonese and/or mandarin. Last year i travelled through Hong Kong and to China to Shaolin to progress in my martial arts practise, however my lack of language skills held me back to some extent. I'm a beginner to Cantonese although I have been surrounded with it all my life, I still don't understand the language. The reason I'm learning Cantonese is to help advance my career in the business field and to be able to speak with other Native speakers.
Nowadays I work full time on weekdays from 9:00AM to 5:00PM and half days on weekends. I want to have a minimum of 2 lessons per week with at least 2 hours per lesson. The qualities I'm looking for in my teacher or the lesson is that I hope it will be fun and an enjoyable learning experience. I like learning when teachers make it fun and I like it even more when my teacher helps me understand fully when I am confused.
