I am wanting to learn conversationa l thai, as well as read and write thai. I have travelled throughout Thailand on few occasions and would like to learn more about the launguage. Being a teacher myself, I have always wanted to learn a new language.
My level is certainly beginner, but I know a little bit. After work hours and weekends would be ideal to learn. I am prepared to swap english for thai.

Dear prospective Thai teacher:
a)I plan to teach engineering at unversity level in Thaiand and need Thai language skills to facilitate my living in Thailand.
b) I know some Thai already but only at a 'basic' level. I can get around 'ok' but need to progress beyond just getting around 'ok'.
c) Up to 2 hours a week.
d) My teacher should be professional in approach...an d preferably target language focussed all the time. I do not want long chat's about life in english...if we are going to chat at all then it must be in Thai.
