My boyfriend and I are going to go to Thailand this summer to visit his khun yai. His mother is fluent but both of us are complete beginners. I'm hoping that we can learn some grammar and conversationa l Thai before we go. I want to dedicate only one or two days to the language lessons, with practice that we can do at home.

i recently travelled to thailand and really enjoyed it i would like to go there again soon , i only know two words so i am at a very beginner level . i would like to learn conversationa l thai as i believe it would enhance my enjoyment of my travels there and my appreciation of the thai people and their culture . i work a 2/1 roster fifo so i can only have in person lessons one week in three so i hope to find a teacher with patience who can spare me two or three lessons on the week i am in town

Proficiency - Beginner: can read, listen and speak basic Thai
Why - want to study / live in Thailand
Are as for improvement - especially want to become fluent in conversation. Listening is bad.
Time - maybe 2 hours a week? would also like homework and to make thai friends to practice conversation

Hi, to whom it may concern,
I've been trying for some time now to find some one to teach me Thai. I've been to Thailand about 5 times now, in the last 2 years, i absolutely love Thailand and plan to move there one day. I've tried to pick up as much Thai as i can. I would really like to learn to speak Thai fluent.
