I am planning to travel to Brazil in January 2012 for one year. I will be volunteering there. I will have classes available once I arrive there but having already done one exchange like this I think I would like to learn some of the language first. I would like to learn as much as possible. I have so far learned basic things such as some numbers, articles, conjugating regular and irregular verbs. I would like to start learning the language more conversationa lly as I think learning the grammar only gets me so far... I can dedicate a few hours one or two days a week to my lessons, but of course I know I will be practicing even while I'm not in class. I am looking for an open and communicative teacher, someone who makes the lessons interesting.

I work in Lisbon as a Teacher spanish, portuguese and french.
I1 am native of the three language (portuguese, spanish and french)

I teach all age groups and my tutoring is tailor-made to the needs and interests of each student. I have lived, worked and travelled in many parts of the world, learning, teaching and using my languages.I am very international -minded. I encourage and foster an interest and love for the culture, history and literature of each language in addition to teaching speaking, reading, writing and listening.

I've decided to learn Portuguese because It's always called my attention. I'm really interested in foreign languages and different cultures. I would like to easily communicate with everyone. I just started teaching myself some basic words and phrases online as well as singing along to some music, but I need to improve my Portugues in every way. I sometimes have a busy schedule, but I would like to dedicate as much time possible to learning. My goal is to be able to speak like a native.
